Our mission
Most laundry advice online is vague or contradictory. Launderwise exists to fix that: every guide answers a real question completely, with the right temperature, the right method and the reasoning behind it — so you can care for your clothes with confidence.
What we cover
We focus tightly on laundry and fabric care: how to wash specific items, how to remove specific stains, how to read care labels, and how to choose the products and settings that protect your textiles. We go deep on a narrow topic rather than shallow on everything.
How we work
Launderwise is an independent publication, not a laundromat — but the person behind it has run self-service laundries since 2018, so the advice here comes from thousands of real wash cycles across every fabric type, not desk research alone. On top of that hands-on experience, each guide is researched from its own primary sources, benchmarked against the best existing guidance, and checked for accuracy before publishing: we cite a manufacturer, standards body or study whenever we state a temperature, a number or a scientific claim.
Sources & accuracy
We follow ISO 3758 / GINETEX care-labelling standards and cite manufacturers, standards bodies and peer-reviewed research where relevant. If we get something wrong, we correct it.

Launderwise is supported by advertising and affiliate links. When we recommend a product we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we would genuinely use, and we include the trade-offs.
